I probably should have been more clear. It gums up IF you use another brand of tape with it. It sounds like you guys were talking about using it without tape at all which i guess is a possibility since it won't be spinning around super fast like it does on a drum scanner. BTW, if you still have some residue, you can get it off with PEC-12 on a PEC pad.
