Canon 900/9000 hex black bwICC system and EPSON quad black 1160 bwICC system to release prior to 1280 bwICC now. We are nearly there (this month). We are going to change the 1280 into a different ink positioning system rather than the double C&M quad we used to run, so we postponed that. It will give the user better ink economy by using equal amounts of the inks in cartridges. The original system ran double full strength cyans and magentas which is not a fuel efficient system when run from carts. Also, by eliminating the double quad in the 1280 (bottles or carts) the result is smoother output quality which is eliminating the slightly mechanical look it had when running double full strength cyan and magenta inks. Two good reasons for delay in our opinion. best, Jon Cone Piezography --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, " Ruhrfoto/Bernd L." <ruhrfoto@y...> wrote: > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Clive > Moss <chmphoto@s...> wrote: > > Hi, > > I could not find any reference to the new system.
