Digital BW, The Print

This truly is sad news. I'm having a hard time understanding why 
Jerry's passing has affected me as deeply as it has, to the point where 
I'm having a hard time typing. We never met, we never spoke, we hardly 
even corresponded. But I, like Jerry, have been a regular participant 
in the various print exchanges. Consequently, I have a wonderful 
collection of his work and feel like I know him through his images. I'm 
glad I took the time to tell him how much I enjoyed his most recent 
image in the April exchange(Prairie Memories-it's on his web site).
I know his legacy will live on. Not only in his images but also in the 
memories of those of us he unknowingly touched. When I read the news of 
Jerry's passing I felt a light go out, the world will now be just a 
little bit dimmer.
