Digital BW, The Print

The memory of following Jerry's posts over the past couple years had the 
flavor of following the Drinking Gourd. Checking in with the North Star never 
fails to reassure me that all's right for the world. Jerry had that North 
Star quality. His dedication to excellence, his passion for the photographic 
process, his gracious willingness to help others, his instinctive generosity 
were as fixed and reliable as the pole star. My condolences to his mother. 
And I hope someone will take care of those cats. If they did indeed own him, 
they must be accustomed to lounging where and when they please. How did their 
late companion keep cat hair off his arresting prints? Best thoughts, Carol
