Digital BW, The Print

Just in case anyone ever runs into the same problem:

When printing from Photoshop in Windows to QuadToneRIP using the Adobe
Postscript Drivers I found that I had to set output profile to 'Same as
source' instead of 'Postscript color management'. Otherwise the shadow
areas would get completely and uncorrectably blocked up, no matter what
curve I used in QuadToneRIP.
