I am currently using an Epson 2100 (2200) with the Archival Matte paper and Matte Ink for my black and white output. Whilst I am moderately happy I would like to improve things if I could. In daylight the b/w's are cold/neutral but under fluorescent lights everything goes a bit magenta (too much for my taste). At the moment I am just doing work prints, but later in the year I will be making 50 exhibition prints. My options are to go back to a wet darkroom or to improve the output I am getting, either by using a different inkset or buying a 1290 with a dedicated B/W inkset.... decision.. decisions..... I was wondering if any fellow UK list subscribers would like to do a print exchange so we can compare what options are available. I would be happy to co-ordinate things. Just let me know if you are interested. Cheers Martin
