Roy,

Good to know that, so we can skip the first part. Thank you for
any help you can give but I guess my friend has the qualities to
do the job. He is an architect/programmer of software systems to
drive medical x-ray equipment etc and the software to interprete
the output data. I did gather the Q&A in on the QTR installation
so far and that will help too.

Is there a potential problem that SuSE already has installed
Gimp-print ?  It can drive the 9000 already.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
