I wish to thank those who were helpful in their comments concerning my questions about PT ink and older version of Piezography software. I feel I am at fault for not stating part of my question correctly. Seems some are wondering if I need positive re-enforcement about a decision I had already made. The answer to this is NO. I am a big boy and have made mistakes before and will make mistakes again. What I do however is make my own decisions. I made the decision to go with the PT inks because of very good luck with Piezo inks and felt it was supported by a reputable and well run company. After reading the reviews and the advertisement claims and the fact that ink-jet mall seems to have thier act together and if the new ink is what they chose to go with, then I am in. If it is a mistake and doesn't work out, then I will consider another route. My question in the original posting were not meant to solicite imput about other ink-sets, just other methods to use the PT inksets. It is my fault however for wording it as I did. ie. "Or should I be doing something else". This statement was to meant to say, should I, or do you think, I will have better success with other output methods , such as profiles, curves, etc. I would perfer to use the original software and drivers. If I can I will, and if not I will do whatever it takes to get the kind of prints I want. And that even includes throwing away 300 bucks worth of ink and going another ink-set. I do not need the greater percent of you all, to decide which ink and paper is best. If I ask questions about what ink-set to go with, I would have gotten about an equal percent for and against any given ink-set. I realize there is much expeirence with different inksets by those on this forum. This is why I ask questions about your experience and knowledge of product that I have already decided to try. Not to be positively reinforced.
