Definitely. My system consists of PC with W2k, PS7, Epson 1270 with Ultratone CIS. I only use a fraction of Qimage can do and I do most of the image manipulation in PS7 but use QI to optimise the print quality and autosharpen. I have uploaded a couple of scan of PS7 printing and QImage printing for you to see real world scans. In addition to being an excellent piece of software Mike Chaney updates this like nothing on earth and all for the one registration. You can see the images at http://www.littleblueplanet.co.uk/not-QIsharpened.jpg and http://www.littleblueplanet.co.uk/QI-sharpened.jpg and readmore about Qimage at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/qimage/messages Not very user friendly admittedly but bl**dy good at what it does.
