Re: QuadToneRIP / GIMP error msg meaning

2003-08-16 by J Michael Sullivan

It would appear the two things are unrelated: I *CAN* print on any size paper via GIMP
-- just not through Photoshop, which I've been told is a carbon-based application
and thus cannot take full advantage of the MacOS. I will be curious to see of PS 8
fixes this.

So my workflow for the time being is:

- edit to my heart's content in Photoshop
- proof inside of Photoshop using the QuadToneRIP/GIMP at lettersize
- when I'm ready to print larger, then save a copy of the file as JPEG
- open it in Preview
- print using the QuadToneRIP/GIMP to any size paper I want

But my question remains: anyone know what the two log errors (mentioned below)
mean?
