At first glance, some disadvanatges: 1. Only goes to 8.5 x 11" 2. Takes 4 ink cartridges - one is a "tricolor". If ink usage is similar to Epson 2200 you'l be throwing away a lot of cyan and magenta ink when the light cyan and light magent run out.
