Tom, I just purchased the same item - and have found the same problem. The black cart lines right up, but the color cart does not match any slots. Most likely we will have to outsmart the unit unless you hear otherwise from MIS. One thought is to pull the chips off the carts and mount them on a spare black cartridge for resetting only.
