I put QTR2 on an old Beige Power Mac mainly to use as a comparator to QTR2 on a Linux box. The installation went as it should and all of the screens have the content that they should. The profile and curve loading functions seem to work and files appear in the drop box as they should. I printed a step wedge that I will measure today but eyeballing it looks pretty good except maybe a bit wet on the black end when it came out of the printer. BUT -- when I tried to print a B&W that had previously printed very well with Piezo I get a virtually black output. (printing done from Photoshop elements v2). Looking at it, there are a few, very few, areas on the paper where some detail pokes through but not much. I tried tweaking the gamma setting but that seemed to have no effect at all (from 1.0 to 2.0). What should I adjust to cut the amount of ink laid down ?
