Digital BW, The Print

Is there a Mac expert out there that can help me?
I had to reinstall OSX which I have done, now I find that I cannot get the "Advanced" 
option to show in my print center when I attempt to reinstall my gimp printer. Yes I 
am holding down the option key when I click on "Add Printer"  I am sure the filing 
system is screwed up somewhere. Does anyone know how to remove all the print 
drivers etc and reinstall them without reinstalling the entire os?
