Shot Canon Ftb's for years with Canon FD lenses. I've got some great scanned negs from that era. Switched to Nikon to go digital several years back...and shoot a D1 now...I love it. I think you can get one for around $3000 now...but you will need lenses as well. It sounds like a lot of money...but the $$$ savings in film and processing is significant if you shoot a lot...but the biggest saving is in time. It takes me about 1/5th the time to go from camera to printer with D1 images vs. scanned negs.
