Pulling the ink through with a syringe means your tubes are not blocked, but
that does not mean your cart is functional. I'd get a new cart & a new tube
from MIS. Strip the old K tube from the CIS/CFS ribbon tubing - you can
attach the new tube to the old tube ribbon with cable ties (not too tight)
or cloth tape. I'd also use the bottom fill method for this new cart (less
chance of introducing foam in the cart).

This is also an opportunity to switch to the more reliable Eboni black.
