Paul,

Using the Ultrachromes (matte black) the dmax for the Premier Premium  
Matte was 1.61, which is about the same that I got with the Premier Hot  
Press Fine Art.  EEM was 1.68.  The paper specs indicate that it is  
acid free, but I haven't tested it.  The basis weight is about the same  
as EEM, but the Premier Premium Matte is not as stiff and has a softer  
feel.
