I have decided to bite the bullet and switch over from OS9 to OSX on my Mac G4. (I'm already really glad - the computer wakes from "sleep" much faster, and will now actually go to sleep, which it had been unable to do since I added an Orange Micro 5-USB port PCI card awhile back; plus, it's a LOT less flaky, in terms of freezing up and such). Anyhow, this also means switching from OPM/IJC to Quadtone RIP. I've installed gimp-print and ghostscript and QTR, I think. And I did the "ADD" procedure under "Print Center". So what's next ? When I run the "Print" command under Photoshop 6, I still just get the Epson driver (I think). I cannot figure out how to get to the QTR driver. Am I confused, and QTR is stand-alone ? Or do I have to fire up gimp-print ? Or do I need an OSX-native version of Photoshop (PS 6 is running under Classic) ? Sorry to be a dumb-ass, John
