Quite the diatribe - Just for the record, QTR works very well with OS X, in fact was written specifically for OS X and moreover is a simple installation and work flow. Printing from Wintel does require a Linux set up but that is not particularly difficult either and produces quality results. Considering that QTR is free for the asking and the author and users are generous with help, neither QTR nor the author deserve your comments. I would suggest that you owe Roy Harrington an apology.
