Digital BW, The Print

I am a beginner in using digital media in photography. I do have a lot of
B/W-negative from late 60's to now. I have mainly used Tri-X, HP5, FP4 and
Pan F.
Is it possible to get decent prints from scanned negative and which scanner
is recommended for B/W. I also would appreciate a recommendation of printer.
I am totally novice when it comes to digital equipment. It would be very
nice to use a digital darkroom instead of a regular one.
