All I ever used was Epson inks and my 1280 clogged every couple of 
weeks. Great prints, but a PIA when it came to clogs. 

My 2200 has never yet clogged with Epson inks. Not even with 
switching back and forth with Matte Black and Photographic Black 
inks. Whichever is not in use is stored in a Ziploc-type plastic bag.
