Re: [Digital BW] Enhanced,Archival and Matte heavyweight Differences

2003-12-17 by Mike Sommers

Thanks for the detailed info, Julio.

I've got 100 sheets of HVWT Matte that I bought when using a canon dye
printer. I now have a 1280 and plan to use the MIS Ultra Tone inks
exclusively (as soon as they get here). I imagine I'll use up about half
that supply of HVWT matte just getting comfy with the new inks and the
Roark process, after which point I'll want to switch over to the
Enhanced matte paper (for the sake of longevity).

Can I expect that prints on the HVWT Matte and Enhanced Matte will look
the same? or am I just wasting my time and money trying to tweak all the
settings with HVWT Matte if the plan is to switch over to Enhanced Matte
as soon as I've got everything figured out?

Also, I have 100 sheets of Enhanced Matte (13 x 19) and didn't notice
any epson logo on the back? how hard is it to find?

Thanks,

Mike
