RE: [Digital BW] So Much for Posting Tutorials

2004-01-19 by Martin Wesley

Glenn,

We have posted just about everything to the Files section that people have
offered. I think the only things we have turned down were files that were
very large and would have consumed too much of the space Yahoo gives us, or
stuff we felt was not on-topic for the group. If you wanted something posted
to the Files section, you just had to send it to me or Antonis off-list.
Unfortunately we may not be following the list at all times and simply
missed your on-line request.

We have not given members the ability to post directly to the Files section
since that also includes the ability to delete. We are concerned that would
leave the Files open to accidental damage or malicious mischief.

As for the rest of your complaint about me and the list I am afraid I really
do not have a clue as to what you are talking about. We try not to interfere
with the posts unless things wander off-topic or someone gets rude or
hostile. Check out the group guidelines. Without some guidance and control
by the moderators groups tend to fall into chaos and become useless.

Best,
Martin Wesley
