My only advice would be to go to the Post Office and get CASH for the money
order before (or as) you send the merchandise.
Fraudulent Postal Money Orders abound.

Subject: [Digital BW] Re: Selling equipment
I'm curious having been involved in almost 1000 auctions on ebay in
the last 4 years how would a person selling camera equipment "get
scammed"? As far as I can figure out the seller determins how they
will accept payment. A Postal Money order is pretty dad gum safe the
MO arrives and you put the item in the mail and off it goes while you
spend the money. If the New world of Paypal and things like ordering
items over the internet scares you stick with the Postal Money order
I've bought items from 11 different countries and sold to 2 dozen the
only person who never paid me was over a ten dollar item he was in
the states. I got a negitive for that one! 99.9% of the stuff I have
bought I was happy when the box was opened the other times I either
got mmy money back and returned the item or got screwed but never for
more then 20-30 bucks. So who would be doing the scamming.
