Digital BW, The Print

XP will see the EXT3 partition but will be unable to read it. The problem
won't be with XP since you can change the format of a partition in your
windows area from NTFD to vfat (after moving any critical data to another
partition). An easier way that comes to mind would be to use partition magic
to add a vfat partition in windows then you wouldn't have to piddle around
with moving data etc.

What I ended up doing in one of my Linux crazes was to set up a vfat
partition in windows, reinstall redhat making sure that I defined the
windows vfat partition with Disk Druid and then went through the rest of
getting updated files etc and then installed QTR.  I am sure there is a
direct way of getting Linux to see the new vfat partition but I am not
enough of a Linux guru to be able to do that at this point.

  Another thought.  All I would really need is read only access to the
  NTFS or FAT32 partition to print with QTR right?  That might be
  easier to set up.
