Surprises!

I turned off the printer for a while, and did some 4x6 prints with no 
problem at all.

Then I printed an 11x17.  I has dark drippy lines at the left side of the 
print (as it came out of the printer), that are 1/2 - 1" long.  They are 
spaced about 1/4" apart.  Some are thick (almost 1/8") and others are much 
thinner.  It looks like ink was dripping.

Any idea what this can be ... and how to cure it?

By the way, all prints were on Hannemuhle 308, with MIS UT-FS ink.
