One of the things that is really attracting me to this software besides the cost, is that it sounds like PW gives you the control and flexibility you need with curves, and tools simuliar to the channel mixer and other tools, one needs with B&W printing that you don't get with Elements or Microsofts product; I am familiar with Elements. Also it appears that PW is simplier to use with less of a learning curve; any comments on this? As far as layers I understand there are other ways to achieve what layers do; read a little about it on PW's website doing a search for "layers".
