John: I am currently battling the same problem except that my problem is so severe that the yellow never functions - currently about 10% of the yellow nozzles work and the pattern is consistent suggesting it isn't bubbles. I have already tried the windex on the pad trick and next up is windex in the input stem (after removing the yellow UT cartridge), all this on a 2200. Odd that the most dilute ink would be the one to clog - unfortunately I clearly don't have a solution for you but if either of us does, hopefully he will contact the other.
