Digital BW, The Print

I'm sure this is basic, but it is elluding me.  I just got the UT7 
inks for the 2200 running XP.  I downloaded Mr. Roark's curves, and 
then loaded one in and tried to print.  First, the moment I loaded 
(carbon, for example) for premium glossy paper, the screen image 
looked almost entirely cyan.  When it printed, it was either so 
light as to look ridiculous, or there was barely anything there at 
all.

What step am I missing here?  I've been to this page -
