I personally haven't had any significant clogging problems with the UT7 inks, but I'm using refilled Epson carts, so my setup is a little bit different. I have had some problems getting the print head aligned properly after I got the UT7 inks though, although right now everything seems to work reasonably well. Not sure if this was an ink problem or just my printer being difficult. I've never used flush carts when switching from Epson to MIS inks, but it takes several cleaning cycles to get rid of all the color, so you probably don't want to do the switch too often to avoid wasting ink. Try to ask MIS if they have the refill friendly 2200 carts available. Bob mentioned a few weeks ago that they were expecting to get those cartridges any moment. If you refill from bottles the ink price is reduced to around 1/5-1/10 of the prefilled cartridge price. Also try their forum: http://www.inksupply.com/forum/index.php I find it's a great place to get support for their products. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no byten2003 wrote: > Well, I am looking at the 11x17 portrait I was in the process of > making when I had so much trouble.
