I have used them both at work (for a graphic artist) and installed some for my wife at home (color matching for hand sewn quilts). In both instances, the Solux lamps approximate daylight very well and they have several different color ranges, measured in degrees Kelvin. Long life and relatively inexpensive, they are a good point source of light.
