Digital BW, The Print

We will be setting up a dedicated black & white print station, using
quadtone inks.  We are 
currently in the process of researching the best method and work flow
for obtaining the 
highest quality black & white prints.  We are committed to producing
the best prints 
possible.  We are trying to decide between the Epson 4000 or
something like the 7000/
7600.  We are also looking into the best RIP software, etc. (we are
using Macs with OS 
10.3).

If anyone has any suggestions for the best system for a Mac we would
love to hear them.
