Hi Well maybe it has in some respects. However, when I look at my own move from 35mm B/ W film to digital (1 Ds) I mainly see better pictures and better prints - and more of them. Of course the fact that I got new lenses to go with the new camera helped, I'm seeing quite a lot of the benefits from the new glass alone.
