I forgot to mention, I'm on a PC with Windows XP.  But I'd be 
interested to know if you have a similar issue with the 7600 driven 
from a Mac.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
