Well said, and my feeling is that that goes for printing and printer too. Sometimes I think we get lost in dmax, curves, etc. while forgetting the image. On the other hand, I feel that familiarity and mastery of our chosen tools should be so complete as to allow ³transparent & almost automatic² use for our visual expression.
