However, depending on what you are asking QTR, or IP, to do, there could be many reasons for the slower speed. You may have simply asked the Epson driver to print, no icc conversions on the way, an easy dither without resize, no rotating etc.. Since a RIP may be doing many things the Epson driver is not doing, including in QTRs case all the value to ink levels assignments, speed issiues might be hard to directly compare. On the Mac, PressReady was always slower than the Epson driver, but it was also doing much more work. Tyler
