Since my photographs are not exactly priceless works of art, I do not use the wheat or rice starch adhesives. Instead, I use Lineco (http://www.lineco.com) Self Adhesive tissue. It is just like using regular tape except you have to peal a backing off. It is acid/lignin-free and very convenient. I have been thinking about offering it is an accessory for my frames.
