I find that a 30 warm:70 cool blend of the EEM profiles that I use with the 4000 and UC inks gives pretty much dead neutral up through the midtones and than a slight warming in the deep shadows. The warming in the shadows occurs because only the LK is being neutralized with LC and LM inks and the un-neutralized K predominates in the shadows. Here is a plot of the cmy and visual densities for a 30 warm:70 cool blend print for a 21 step wedge that illustrate what I've described above: http://homepage.mac.com/scho/EEM.jpg On Thursday, October 7, 2004, at 09:54 AM, colin_young@... wrote: > > > I'm trying to produce a b&W print on Kodak Professional inkjet paper > (lustre finish).
