It isn't completely self-installing, you have to do a bit of setup of the loopback adaptor, if you don't already have a network, and in operation it is equally simple - drag & drop your QTR-prepared file onto the printer file in Windows Explorer, just like regular file handling or directly from the Open File menu in Photoshop or whatever it is that you use to open image files. The program installs like any simple file and installs over any existing version when you upgrade. The GUI is a separate program that installs quite simply, too, so I'd be willing to bet that they both uninstall equally cleanly. I've re-installed and upgraded both in XP without uninstalling the earlier ones, too. One caution for all QTR users - I've found some erratic handling of non-alphanumeric symbols in the file names. Two of my files with an "&" in the file names printed at one time, then stopped until I renamed them without the &.. Frank
