David, I don't know if the newer re-setters are better or not. MIS made a comment to me that seemed to indicate the re-setter with the light that changes from red to green as the chip is re-set is the best. I had several re-setters, only one of which fit that description, and my batting average on resetting in general was less than perfect. So, I started to use just the one with the light that changes colors, and so far with the C86 chips it has been successful every time. There may, however, be other factors, such as the batch of C86 chips MIS sent. So, I'd just see if yours works OK before replacing it. Seems to work fine. Do you think there is any advantage to getting a newer one? I didn't realize there were any issues with the old model. david Please visit the Group Homepage to check the Files, and other resources as they are often being updated. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint If you wish to receive no emails or just a daily digest, or you wish to unsubscribe, please edit your Membership preferences by visiting this same page.
