RE: [Digital BW] refill-friendly carts?

2004-11-17 by Paul Roark

David,

I don't know if the newer re-setters are better or not. MIS made a comment
to me that seemed to indicate the re-setter with the light that changes from
red to green as the chip is re-set is the best. I had several re-setters,
only one of which fit that description, and my batting average on resetting
in general was less than perfect. So, I started to use just the one with
the light that changes colors, and so far with the C86 chips it has been
successful every time. There may, however, be other factors, such as the
batch of C86 chips MIS sent.

So, I'd just see if yours works OK before replacing it.

...and the other thing I learned, the hard way, was to be sure to
order needle tips for the syringes you've has been using to do
bottom filling. :-)

I have the old chip resetter, evidently. Seems to work fine.
Do you think there is any advantage to getting a newer one?
I didn't realize there were any issues with the old model.
