Hi (again!) Paul, And also, if you have 4GB of RAM it is possible to set up XP Pro (not Home) to give 3GB to PS and leave the remaining gig for the OS. You need a utility from the Windows 2000 Server resource kit in order to patch the Photoshop executable file so it will make use of the available memory, and you also need to edit the c:\boot.ini file.
