It's an "in between spray" that only gets laid down on lightly inked (or uninked) areas of the print." Then here is an issue. QTR can only treat gloss as an ink, laying it down lightly in the highlights and heavily in the shadows. It cant do the inverse (in present form). I suspect the lay down of gloss is a lot more complex. For example the R800 has the option to lay down gloss outside the image area suggesting that it likely does need to be laid down where there is no ink.
