Did that fix it for you? The thin-lines/microbanding just came back last night on my 1270.. wasted 2 13x19 prints already. Slightly over-filled carts? That's strange. My old cart is close to finish when that happened last night so I replaced it with a new one. And it is still there. I switched with a OEM 007 cart and it's working fine. But once switched back to the new UT2 black cart it's back. (And I did cleaning cycles and purge prints). Anyway, I gave up last night and did a tiny test print this morning before heading to work. It seems to be working ok again.. (But then it could work fine for half a 13x19 and the 2nd half is bad). I am getting quite sick of the problems. Would a UT2 CIS work better or worse? Or should I just dump the setup to get a 2200 and stay with Epson ink and print with QTR or BlackOnly..
