You could end up with similar issues with Epson inks also. Did you make sure that you 
looked carefully up there around the head and paper feed area to see if there was any ink 
build up there that is transfering to the paper? I've had this issue with Epson inks when 
black ink got built up in the printer and when the paper rubbed across it it transfered to 
the media. You might need a strong light to look up in there.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
