I don't think you missed anything yet. Lyson Daylight Darkroom as far 
as I can see is a new product that has only just been launched. It 
seems that Lyson have teamed up with Bowhaus who make the RIP, to 
produce a complete one stop B&W solution. However I cannot see 
anything really new here. The Bowhaus RIP IJC/OPM has been available 
for a while. Its a RIP for B&W only and covers a number of popular 
Epson printers, using any ink you care to choose. It will be 
interesting to see how much Lyson charge for the software, compared 
to buying it direct from Bowhaus. I have just bought IJC/OPM and 
really like the product. I like the user interface of IJC, and OPM is 
very simple to use. I'm just starting to experiment with building my 
own curves to control the inks.  IJC seems more of an intergrated 
solution than QTR for this, and for me is easier to use. However I 
wish Bowhaus would produce a decent tutorial on curve design.

Just my thoughts.
