Digital BW, The Print

I'm currently doing a lot of testing comparing the Roark workflow 
with curves and QTR in terms of contrast, detail, dither patterns 
and sharpness. I still have some testing to do before I come to any 
conclusions but I'd be happy to hear if any of you have done similar 
tests and what conclusions you might have come to. 

One problem I've experienced with QTR is that when I print with the 
page in Horizontal format I get a dark line across the bottom of my 
image. I don't get this line when I print with the page set 
vertically. The line doesn't exist in my image. I'm using UT2 inks 
and the Epson 1280 printing at 1440 super. On another note, I tried 
2880 and it radically stretched and distorted the image vertically 
off the page. I guess 2880 isn't fully supported.
