The Profiles are 16-bit and so is the RIP so that it maps the 8bit
tiff smoothly.

I have seen many cases of banding that are printer related.
The problem with a generalisation like this
is that it is almost certainly going to be wrong.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
