Three years ago,in a real camera store,I asked a young salesperson for some 2 1/4 Tri-X,he said to me"let me look that up", Of course the film was and is still being made, but the hand writing was on the wall. Now the big C-41 wedding lab in town is about done.Last summer while teaching a photography class at a local collage,I was holding a roll of 35mm film in my hand and a young guy said, whats that? I am quit surprised that cut film is hard to get.I am even more surprised that company's like Epson are still coming out with new scanners. Its a schizophrenic world.Francis Ford --- Andre <am1000@...> wrote: > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, > Mark Savoia > <mark@c...> wrote: > > I am a dealer and can not order films anymore, our > rep says they are > > history.
