The inconsistencies of the Piezo ink may relate to the use of a CIS.  If
that is the case, it might be a good idea to take some ink from the 7000
carts I got for you and see what they look like.  Those users are probably
going to be the most critical of any density differences any way.  Is it
possible to pull a couple of ounces out of the carts for testing?
