Well according to the labels on the bottles I have the right inks but yes I really wonder if I got a wrong batch. Here the partition values I have: Warm 44 Sepia 40 Neutral 34 Cool 24 One (big) qualification: I am using UT2 LM medium grey as my "light warm grey" in the LC slot. My understanding is that this is the same as UT7 LC ink. I am also using UT2 sepia toner which I understand to be the same as UT7 sepia toner. On this basis my inks set up should be the same as yours but with the inks in a different order: K is PKN LK is glop C is MIS PK LC is UT2/7 light warm grey M is Eboni LM is UT2/7 light cool grey Y is UT2/7 sepia toner Looking at an old calib page from the UT2/FSN days I can clearly see that the light warm ink I am using is lighter than the "dark warm grey". I have not opened the bottle of UT7 M. > From: Carl Schofield <scho@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2005 17:14:15 -0500 > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: Re: [Digital BW] QTR neutral curve PKN, UT7 Light warm/cool grey > > > Steve, > > The GRAY_VAL I used for ink 2 (LK-glop) in the neutral profile was > measured using the LC gray (I didn't have the combo cal file then).
